As a professional photographer, everyday I capture joy and beauty. I love my job. I’m fascinated with documenting emotion. I love giving people the opportunity to look at a photo that I shot and relive that moment in time or experience the feeling they felt when we captured it. Photography is the closest medium to magic that I know. Being able to capture a feeling, a moment that will live on forever even after the memories fade, and being able to pass those memories along to future generations. It’s such a gift — and something that I derive great pleasure from. Because I become a part of that moment, sharing in the emotion and losing myself in it.
Photos become art when they tell a story, not just of a subject, time and place, but of the emotion and spirit therein. In my work, I collaborate with my clients as a storyteller - capturing their special moments as photographic art to always be cherished.
